The German Conference on Bioinformatics is an annual, international conference devoted to all topics in bioinformatics. Its tradition reaches back to 1985, and recent conferences have attracted up to 200 participants from all over the world.
The 2005 conference was organized by the Center for Bioinformatics(ZBH) and has taken place at the University of Hamburg on
October 5th - 7th, 2005
The GCB 2005 is over. Our thanks go to all those who contributed and made the GCB 2005 in Hamburg a lively event: the speakers, the poster presenters, and all participants. We also thank our sponsors for their support.

The GCB 2006 will be held in Tübingen.
